Chinese holidays
There are two main holidays in China. If you are doing business with China it's good to be aware of when these occur. China celebrated its' special New Year's Eve in February. In October another important holiday will take place.
The Chinese New Year
The most important holiday in China is the Chinese New Year.  Year 2011 is the year of the rabbit. CEOs, businessmen and workers from all over China are off work around 2 weeks each, sometime during February. It is a holiday that was celebrated almost during the whole month of February, even though the actual New Year´s Eve 2011 was February 2.

 
National Holiday
The second most important holiday is the celebration of the national holiday, which is celebrated October 1-7 2011.
