Product descriptions:Ecological construction The EFEM Architectures are specialized in energy economical construction. We have worked with environmental issues during our whole operational time and that has given us over 30 years of experience in planning and construction of energy economical buildings and housing areas.EFEM has contributed to the development within this area with several objects that attract attention. Some of the most buzzed-about was the so called Lindåshouses, located south of Gothenburg. Today we work with issues on energy, ecology and culture environmental caring within physical planning, construction projects and investigation assignments. We also participate in education studies, give seminars and occasionally we have lectures in these issues.

EFEM Architectures, founded in 1947, owned by the staff members, which is a guarantee for commitment and a stimulated exchange of knowledge. The office is run as a limited company and is located at Göta Älv in the center of Gothenburg. We are ten staff members, all with their own special profile of knowledge. Our field of activities is large: planning, projecting, program and investigation work together with research and development, often within doctrine of ecological building and culture environment. In larger projects we work in network.
Our environmental system is made according to the standard SS-EN ISO 14001.
