Trade Finance
The members of the focus group make up a network representing banks, trading firms, companies etc. They work to maintain and develop the deep knowledge that exists in the region in the area of Trade Finance.  

Aim and Objectives
- To focus on and market the Trade Finance services of   the region
- To identify and initiate further educational possibilities - to, on a regular basis, lecture on Trade Finance in   educational matters
- To stimulate exchanges of experience between the members of the focus group

Risk capital

Aim and Objectives
- To promote  the development of a better functioning risk capital market in the region. 
- "Dare to grow with the help of capital", a meeting place between growing companies and risk capital investors. Conference held annually since 2005.

Treasury
The members of the focus group represent companies, banks, unit trusts etc.

Aim and Objectives
- To promote the development of efficient finance functions for medium-sized companies' head offices
- To market the region's services in the Treasury area
- To use the network to raise the region's total competence through exchanges of experience and competence development, both for treasurers and for service suppliers

Financial education   

Aim and Objectives
- To work for developed financial education and further education at the School of Business, Economics and Law
- An annual “Finance Day" has been held at the School of Business, Economics and Law since 2003, during the course of which the name of “Gothenburg´s Finance Personality" is announced.

Asset Management

Aim and Objectives
- To be a forum/network and stimulate exchanges of experience between asset managers in the region with the aim of strengthening the region´s profile.
- To work to improve the prerequisites for this type of activity in the region.
- To work to ensure that the region continues to be a labour market of interest in this field
- To reinforce the role of employer through better marketing
