Chalmers Antenna Systems VINN Excellence Center

Chalmers Antenna Systems Excellence center is a research organization focusing on Wireless Communications, Remote Sensing and Medical Applications of Microwaves. CHASE is oriented towards applied research and projects are chosen based on industrial needs, usefulness for society and global sustainability. All projects should lead to products and opportunities for employment. To achieve its overall goal of bridging
the gap between research and products, our university researchers work closely together with researchers and engineers from industry and research institutes. This way we can keep pushing our limits forward.
Focus areas within Chase are:
  • MEDTECH, initial project: Microwave tomography
  • WIRELESS, initial projects: MIMO systems & MIMO terminals
  • SATCOM, initial project: Multiband reflector antennas
  • Measuring, initial project: Measurement techniques
