The Infrastructure and Logistics cluster aims to sharpen the Gothenburg region's competitive edge by developing logistics and transport as a way to contribute to growth and employment. Our part in this is drawing up development strategies in collaboration with a number of different organizations.
Increasing transport frequency is a key factor in our work. Ultimately, this will help companies reduce their logistics costs and improve conditions for the logistics and transportation sector as a whole.

| Another important task we perform is developing new knowledge in the field of transport and logistics. For example, this can be done by increasing the use of IT in logistics and creating more possibilities for combined transports. Other activities include: - Establishing a competence center for logistics and transport in Gothenburg.
- Taking part in and developing the annual Logistics and Transportation Fair in Gothenburg.
- Participating in the North Sea Commission´s working group on communications and transportation.
- Helping to develop the TradeEasy competence center, whose purpose it is to simplify trade procedures.
- Helping to develop the Logistics Arena at Lindholmen Science Park.
- Taking part in a major project on transportation in large cities that aims to make transportation safer, more efficient, and more environment-friendly.
