The Göteborg region is the hub of the chemical and petrochemical industry in Sweden. Many multinational companies have chosen to locate their Scandinavian headquarters in the region - partly because of the abundance of highly skilled manpower in the area and partly because of the region´s proximity to important markets, customers, and end users. |
| The aim of the Petrochemicals project is to highlight and help create competitive advantages and development opportunities for the petrochemical and refinery industries in the west of Sweden.
This is something that will hopefully lead to increased investment by existing industries as well as new players, and contribute to strengthening both society and industry in the region.
