The operations are based on renewable feedstock and energy, contributing towards a sustainable society.
The approach will focus on four areas for change and transition
· Renewable feedstock
· Renewable chemicals and materials
· Renewable transportation fuels
· Resource and energy efficiency including material recycling
Another important focus is strengthening the network between industry, society, and research. Extensive work in this field is being carried out at Chalmers University of Technology and a polymer engineering center is now being established - a research and development center with cutting-edge competence in polymers and their different areas of application.
