Marina Gireva, International Sales Manager for Alliera met with me and outlined what she and Irina Redel, General Manager, are doing with their company. Marina Gireva stated the following. “ We like any other new company wish to get our company known and make sure our company name is one associated with the contact lens industry as this is the market we wish to penetrate." What exactly is your business?
“We import, export and distribute contact lens accessories (travel kits) focusing on the optical branch. We deliver high quality products and services for our customers, providing unique solutions and mutually beneficial relations."
What's unique regarding your Business?
"We are a company fronted by two Russian women, bringing new products to the market which have seldom been seen on the Swedish and Scandinavian market."
Why this line of Business?
"I was purchasing manager in a contact lens laboratory in Yoshkar-Ola , Russia. Here the lenses were produced, so for me I´m most familiar with the industry and after care of the products."
Why Göteborg?
“Göteborg is the best location for tackling the Swedish and Scandinavian markets, we saw a gap in the market and now we will use that. After accessories we expect to import Russian lenses down the line."
Any Obstacles?
“Unfortunately some retailers are tied to selling particular brands so we will find other products we can supply them. That is one area of restriction for us."
What is your goal?
“To be the number one in quality of service and by that we mean to have customer satisfaction. We plan to use Göteborg as a springboard for Europe. We make contact lens handling less complicated and joyful for every user. Our mission is to provide proper contact lens care and easy handling solutions for our customers. The products we offer deliver ideal conditions for contact lens storage and safe lens handling procedures. Therefore, our focus is to create value for the customers and their satisfaction."
What will be the basis of your success?
“We have done our homework and carefully studied the market. We know this field from years worked in Russia in the optical industry. We will serve both the retailers and private consumers."

“Our products are FDA approved and conform with European standards (CE-marking). You can find not only stylish contact lens cases and comfortable Travel Kits, but also accessories for laboratories and much more in our assortment."

" By providing the best devices for contact lenses, we care about eyesight. Lens accessories are important, because they simplify handling contact lenses, creating comfortable handling, keeping adequate hygiene, while finally allowing for style."
