Economic Outlook Gothenburg region, 1st quarter 2013
 
We are now at the start of an economic upswing, but as the underlying problems in Europe´s economy will need time to resolve themselves, the recovery remains fragile. However, the number of people in employment has continued to grow in Gothenburg and there are many signs that the labour market will improve slightly during the year. Several indicators in our report show that the Gothenburg Region has done better than the rest of the country, and has thereby helped to boost Sweden´s growth.
