Gothenburg has an outstanding position in a European comparison. The international consulting firm BAK Basel has recently conducted a benchmark for growth prospects in 119 European regions. It shows among other things, that: - Gothenburg is among the 20 fastest growing regions in the 00s (2000-2010)
- Gothenburg belongs to 30 of the top in terms of productivity (GDP / capita)
- Gothenburg is ranked No. 5 in place for future growth potential (structure and political stability are among others)
