44 millions to Marine research in Göteborg
Göteborg University and Chalmers has a join research program called New Marine Paint. The four year old program has received a 44 million large grant from Mistra (Stiftelsen för miljöstrategisk forskning). The research program cross-scientific and both biologist and chemists participate. One important aspect of the program is how to minimise the growth of sea anemones and other algae on boat hulls.
