Three departments at Business Region Göteborg, IT Centre West, Center of Visualization and Enterprise Europe Network, will jointly participate at the ICT fair ‘Easy Fairs ICT´. The fair is carried out for the fourth time in Göteborg. Enterprise Europe Network has representatives on site to help visitors with issues related to the EU and European business cooperation.In the stand there will be information on upcoming projects and issues related to ICT, within the areas of the participating departments. Among these, the conference Visual Forum 2009, EU funding in the area of ICT and the plans to establish a centre of competence for Green IT in the Göteborg region can be mentioned. Representatives of the West Swedish excellence clusters in the ICT will also be represented in the stand.
EasyFairs ICT runs parallel to the INTERNET EXPO and is Scandinavia 's largest event in ICT. In addition to the two fairs there will be seminars, panel discussions and a Speakers Corner.Andreas Göthberg, Center of Visualization, will give some points in recent topics in visualization in the Speakers Corner on January 14 at 10:30 AM.
Erik Behm from IT Centre West will participate in the panel discussion ‘Green IT - Is IT a threat or an opportunity for the environment´ on Januray 14 between 01.00-02.00 PM.
