Expo Real Report

Business Region Göteborg at Expo Real

Firstly, we want to thank each and everyone who visited our stand during Expo Real 2008 and who showed interest in our region. We look forward to having further contact with you!

Also, many thanks to all participants at our stand event for your attention!

During the last few years, Business Region Göteborg, BRG, has exhibited at Expo Real. Our region is known for its focus on environmental issues, energy efficiency and sustainable city planning through innovative technology and new infrastructure. This is what BRG told more about during Expo Real by arranging a stand event where Göteborg City Planning Authority was present with a representative, Christer Abrahamsson.

Mr Abrahamsson explained to the audience about the huge potential Göteborg Region has and therefore many city areas, and also areas out in the region, has big plans for the nearest future. Many projects are ongoing at this moment and will be finalised in a couple of years and other projects are further ahead in time. If you want to know more about the strategies and planning for the region, feel free to contact us.

Göteborg Region also had the opportunity to promote its work with urban sustainable development when Mr Abrahamsson attended a forum “Sustainability in an urban context" together with representatives from German regions such asHamburgandFrankfurt .

Another matter which BRG wants to give emphasis to is the award given to Göteborg for its entrepreneurial friendly climate — according to the European Cities Entrepreneurship Ranking of 2007. This was also explained to the audience at BRG´s stand event by Henrik Einarsson, Head of Analysis at BRG. For this presentation — click here

Along with the mentioned speakers above, the stand event had a moderator, Jens Nagel from Property Advisors Nordic.
