The University of Gothenburg offers a 10 week course in Integrated Quantitative Pharmacology: Concepts and Applications (15 ECTS) 1 Sep 1-7 Nov , 2008. Last application date is 15 April.
There is a great demand for PK and PK/PD trained analysts within academia, industry and regulatory agencies as well as for researchers and analysts with in-depth knowledge in integrated pharmacology.

This unique programme in Quantitative Pharmacology provides an interface between the computer analysis of PK & PD data and physiological concepts. Based on the background and concepts provided by the course lecturers, delegates will apply this information to the appropriate modelling package (WinNonlin) in hands-on exercises on real-life case studies.

Who can attend?
Biochemists, DMPK, pharmacology, clinical pharmacology and toxicology scientists, and researchers with a working knowledge of Quantitative Pharmacology who want to learn more about the advanced features of the subject.

Requirements
Degree of Bachelor in Biomedicine/Chemistry or equivalent subject (180 scp) and relevant work experience in biochemistry, pharmacology, clinical pharmacology, or toxicology.
