Background?
Shanghai FID is the sole investment promotion agency of Shanghai. So far, FID has set up 12 overseas representative offices in USA, Japan, Europe and Oceania(?). Shanghai FID Gothenburg Office was established on September 28th, 2004. Due to the good relationship between Sweden and China in history and Gothenburg and Shanghai being the sister city, the establishment of FID Gothenburg Office got full supports from the governments of both sides. Madam WuYi, vice prime minister of PRC and Mr Joran Johasson, mayor of Gothenburg, witnessed to the opening ceremony. The establishment of FID Gothernburg Office can not only enhance mutual friendship, but also promote economcial and trading communcation between both parties. What are the goals of your organization?
FID Gothenburg Office has following goals:Representing Shanghai FID in Nordic area; publishing and promoting the investment environment and industrial development policy in Shanghai; responsible for acquiring latest investment information of Nordic area; organizing various investment promotion activities; promoting the companies from Sweden and Nordic area to invest in Shanghai and supplying after establishment service to Nordic´s companies in Shanghai; supporting Shanghai companies to invest in Sweden as well as in Nordic area. What is unique regarding your organization?
The office is the window of Shanghai. Although my office puts emphasis on investment, we would also like to share more information both ofShanghaiand of Sweden, like the exchange project ISGR. We are ready here to give you guidance to Shanghai in any business fields as investment, trade, visit, exchange project and so on.What organisations helped you here and with what?

Good network under the support of the China Embassy and Consulate, Business region Gothenburg, Invest inSwedenagency;Chinagroup of Vinge Law firm; Swedish bank´sShanghai office and some Swedish private companies, those who are familiar with both countries cultures, etc. are the basis of my success.
