Professor Thomas Hedner receives award
The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences has awarded professor Thomas Hedner, of Sahlgrenska Academy at the University of Gothenburg, the Sten Gustafsson Award for tomorrow´s entrepreneurs.
The SEK 250.000 award will serve as a contribution to the new centre for development of the new field of study, Medical Entrepreneurship. The centre was established at the Sahlgrenska Academy in 2007 in co-operation with Chalmers University of Technology and The School of Business Economics and Law, performing education as well as research.
The centre will also play an important role for the variety of clusters which stimulate high technology academy-based spin-off companies.
The Sten Gustafsson Foundation for tomorrow´s entrepreneurs was founded by Astra AB.
