Top Swedish screening system to US

The Swedish biotechnology company Cellectricon receives a milestone order for their high technology RNAi Screening System.
The Swedish biotechnology company Cellectricon has received its most significant and largest single order to date. The order includes three Cellaxess HT systems. The customer is a leading US biotech firm.

Cellectricon utilizes state-of-the-art interfaces to biological systems by employing novel microfluidic technologies. The product Cellaxess HT is the world´s first fully automated workstation for high throughput RNAi screening on biologically relevant cell types. 

The system enables reagent free delivery of siRNA and cDNA to a wide range of primary cells and cell lines with excellent efficiency and viability at a throughput of 50 000 wells per day. Cellaxess HT is first of its kind on the market and will impact target discovery by providing key functional data in relevant primary human cells.
