Expat Christmas Celebration 2010

The popular Expat Christmas Celebration was arranged for the 9th year in a row. 250 guests originating from about 40 countries came to the City Hall to experience the Swedish Lucia tradition and enjoy the speech held by Göteborg's Lord Mayor, Mr Rolf Lindén. Mr Göran Johansson handed over the Key to the Heart of Göteborg to Chinese-owned Wicresoft.
On December 3 2010 Business Region Göteborg, with great help from parnters, arranged the Expat Christmas Celebration for the 9th year in a row at the City Hall. The new Lord Mayor of the city, Mr. Rolf Lindén, held a speech and Mr Göran Johansson presented the Key to the Heart of Göteborg to the Chinese-owned company Wicresoft. This is an award given to a foreign-owned company that has made a difference for the Göteborg Region.
The Key to the Heart of Göteborg was accepted by Ms Cristiana Wall, vice president of Wicresoft´s European Headquater. The 250 expats originating from around 40 countries enjoyed samples of the Swedish Christmas Smorgasbord as well as Christmas carols sang by a Lucia parade. Next year will be the 10th anniversary of the Expat Christmas Celebration and we know it´s an even that is going to be event more special.
