International urban transport conference in Gothenburg
Gothenborg hosts an international conference on urban transports, 4-5 October.
The UITP conference in Gothenburg will be an opportunity to promote good practices in the fields of urban governance and demand management. UITP, the International Association of Public Transport, aims to double the worldwide public transport market share by 2025.
The list of speakers at the conference include Anneli Hulthén, Mayor of Gothenburg, and Chair of Business Region Göteborg.
The Gothenburg Region is a hot spot when it comes to Sustainable Transportation. Business Region Göteborg currently manages several demo projects within this field, eg:
