“The key to the heart of Gothenburg 2011" goes to UK-company The Hardstaff Group
Business Region Göteborg and Lord Mayor Rolf Lindén handed out this year´s “The key to the heart of Gothenburg" to Hardstaff Group. This award is handed out to one newly-established foreign-owned company each year.
The Hardstaff Group, with a heritage dating back some 150 years, is today recognized as one of the principle providers of leading edge technology and innovative services to both the global and UK road transport industry. Hardstaff Group was one of the first companies in Europe to develop the engine technology, Dual fuel. The technology has the potential to substantially reduce the greenhouse gas emissions from goods transports. This has opened up a new market for heavy duty trucks that use biogas and natural gas in diesel engines. Managing Director Trevor Fletcher came from the UK to receive his diploma.
