The environmental dimension Vehicle gas
In the Biogas Väst project, BRG is helping Volvo, Göteborg Energi and some other companies to create a market for biogas-fuelled vehicles. This will lead to more eco-vehicles and an ecocycle in the waste and agriculture sectors, where biogas is produced, and four sectors win tangible new “green" markets (vehicles, energy, waste, and agriculture). Result: About 30 filling stations for vehicle gas, 7,000 gas-fueled vehicles, investments totaling 2.6 billion SEK and biogas production equivalent to 120 Gwh.

Ecoex Ecoex helps environment companies in western Sweden with the potential to export to reach international markets. We identify business opportunities in international markets, support the companies through their export maturity process and create meeting places for them. The project has thus far participated in export business amounting to at least 65,7 million SEK. Business worth a further 294 million SEK is currently in the pipeline. The social dimension Project Angered
Business Region Göteborg has been working for several years to strengthen growth in Angered and thus reduce social isolation. Business Region Göteborg has contributed to investments totaling 300 Million SEK being made in Angered since 2005 and to the creation of 1,500 new jobs in the north-eastern districts of the city.
In January 2007 we opened a center for company development in Angered. About 80 people have taken part in seminars and courses so far. 40 people have received individual counseling before starting their companies and 10 companies have already begun doing business. Milestones
